So sorry for the wait, "E"!

I know you've been anxiously awaiting this "E" . . . and I'm sorry it's so delayed . . . however, 'tis the season for pictures and everything else!

This is the THIRD time I've done pictures for this little cutie . . . and I think she gets cuter every time! It was super windy the day we shot, but we managed to find a little alcove tucked away from the winds. Here's a sneak peek of her nine month pics:

Breakfast with Santa and Miss "J"

Wow - today was busy, but I loved every minute of it! I spent the morning at the school where I teach and I promoted Twelve Stones Photography at our Breakfast with Santa. Despite the fact that Santa's pants were much too short . . . I had a great time talking with people and showing them what I do on the side. I sold several Alphabet Art creations, booked three sessions, and handed out a bunch of business cards - I'd call it a success! Thanks for those of you who stopped by today.

Then, this afternoon I drove out to Lago Vista for "J"'s senior photo shoot. She and her mom had picked out the location and it was perfect! Not to mention, both ladies were stunning. Here's the sneak peek:

Baby "C" and Family!

I was so blessed to spend the morning with an incredible family! They welcomed me into their home and were fun and relaxed. I had a blast! Thanks, y'all. The main focus was little "C" but I was able to sneak in some other shots of the extended family. This little guy was all smiles, despite his double ear infection! "K", I put all black and white on here since I know you like those best. Check out these precious pics:

The winning name is . . .

Alphabet Art!!

Several weeks ago I posted on here that I needed a name for the new branch of Twelve Stones that was names spelled out with pictures (see here). The winning name was Alphabet Art submitted by Cori Cline. Thanks, Cori, for your great idea! I am now taking orders for these items and the first person to e-mail me in response to this post gets 20% off!

"J" Family and Sibling Fun

On Wednesday I had the chance the chance to photograph this beautiful family . . .

Their children were polite and well-behaved and had the sparkliest blue eyes I've ever seen!

Thanks, "J"s, for a great session!

Yesterday I enjoyed turkey with my husband and parents . . . and today we're eating the leftovers! Leftovers are the best part!

This morning I teamed up with a client and her two sisters for some pictures. It was rainy and generally yucky outside, but we didn't let that stop us. Check out the fun we had! :)

"B" Family is thankful for another boy

So . . . what started off as a "mini" session (meaning theoretically less time and fewer pictures taken) turned into nearly a full session! There were so many great moments with this family and I just couldn't help myself! Mom is pregnant with their second baby and looks FABULOUS . . . take a look . . . isn't she beautiful?!

And . . . what a moment! Mom snuggled with big brother, "G".

And we had to throw in a shot of big brother as an only child for just another month! The light from this window was incredible.

And one last belly shot!

Tuesday, November 25, 2008

This is the first of several shoots this week and we started off with precious "G". I've been fortunate to photograph this little guy FIVE times now - and each time he's just as cute as before! Take a look:

Enjoy your sneak peek, "S" family!

Yesterday I had two shoots, and I couldn't believe it - it didn't get above 60 degrees yesterday! Brr! (Ha - I think I'm getting soft) Thankfully, because it was so windy, only one of them was outside. The first was the winner of my session giveaway. We did the shoot in her house with her boys in the their pjs and the Christmas tree - it certainly got me in the Christmas mood! I battled with the light since this was one of only a few indoor shoots I've done, but we managed to still come away with some priceless brotherly moments:

The second family took me out near their home for a little more "rustic" charm with cactus and rocks (none of which you can see in any of the below pictures). We had a great time and they are all so photogenic! Thanks "R" family.

Coming Soon!

I'm excited to announce that I will soon be offering personalized artwork made up of photographs that represent letters. The unique thing is the photos were all taken of everyday items that happen to look like letters. If you simply change your perspective, it's amazing what you'll find! These letters can be placed in combination to spell whatever you'd like - first or last names, single words like "love" or "family", or maybe to show loyalty to your college or state. All words come in black, solid oak frames with a black mat. Below are the dimensions of the frames:

Words with 3, 4, 5, or 6 letters - 8"x 24"
Words with 7, 8, or 9 letters - 8" x 36"

Here is a sample with my last name, Tripple (keep in mind, this is not a photograph of actual example, but rather a digitally created sample of the final product). Click on it to enlarge the image.

The one thing I still need is a catchy name for this branch of Twelve Stones. For example, something like "Name Frames" or "Letter Perspectives". Why don't I just use one of those names, you ask? Unfortunately, some other creative people in other parts of the country have already claimed those! Here's where I need your help. E-mail me your ideas and if I use your idea, you'll get 50% off one of these great new products!

Pioneer Days

I finished out the weekend with a family from our church at a local pioneer farm. This family has ties to the farm several generations back, so it was extra special for them to be photographed there. Their two children are full of energy and have the most beautiful blue eyes!

Enjoy your sneak peek, "J" family! :)

The season of seniors . . .

Tonight I went with our pastor's wife and their son to take his senior pictures. This session was a long time coming, because we had it scheduled earlier but he got hurt playing football so we had to bump it back. But it all worked out, and he was definitely a natural in front of the camera and made my job really easy! Thanks, "A". It was fun! Take a look:

Kids and Peacocks!

I did my first shoot at a preserve here in Austin. I was shocked to find that peacocks are roaming everywhere - in trees, on roofs, in the grass. It was amazing! The grounds are spectacular and the peacocks could care less about the visitors. Here's a shot of one of the birds:

And now for the darling sisters!

"M" Family Sneak Peak

Tonight I had the privilege of photographing a family that I know through school (for those of you who don't know, I teach first grade full-time and do photography part-time for now). They are all naturally beautiful and they were so laid back and relaxed during our session. This first one I think is just precious.

This one just speaks volumes about the type of family they are:

Hope you enjoy these "M" family!

Pumpkin Sneak Peek

Today I had a great day at Sweet Berry Farm with four wonderful families - who happen to all be returning clients. On the way there, it was overcast and drizzling a bit, but by the time we got there, the rain had stopped and the clouds made a perfect cover for pictures. It actually felt a little like fall! : )

I started off with a nine-month-old and her four-year-old cousin. Both girls had their Halloween costumes and aren't they precious?!?

Then, I had a family of four who appeared on my blog not that long ago. Here they are again and looking as fabulous as ever.

Next, was little "G" who is SO handsome . . . MJ, can you believe how grown up he looks?

And finally, two brothers who were a challenge to get in the same place for a picture! But, the one we did get is priceless.
