Pioneer Days

I finished out the weekend with a family from our church at a local pioneer farm. This family has ties to the farm several generations back, so it was extra special for them to be photographed there. Their two children are full of energy and have the most beautiful blue eyes!

Enjoy your sneak peek, "J" family! :)

The season of seniors . . .

Tonight I went with our pastor's wife and their son to take his senior pictures. This session was a long time coming, because we had it scheduled earlier but he got hurt playing football so we had to bump it back. But it all worked out, and he was definitely a natural in front of the camera and made my job really easy! Thanks, "A". It was fun! Take a look:

Kids and Peacocks!

I did my first shoot at a preserve here in Austin. I was shocked to find that peacocks are roaming everywhere - in trees, on roofs, in the grass. It was amazing! The grounds are spectacular and the peacocks could care less about the visitors. Here's a shot of one of the birds:

And now for the darling sisters!

"M" Family Sneak Peak

Tonight I had the privilege of photographing a family that I know through school (for those of you who don't know, I teach first grade full-time and do photography part-time for now). They are all naturally beautiful and they were so laid back and relaxed during our session. This first one I think is just precious.

This one just speaks volumes about the type of family they are:

Hope you enjoy these "M" family!

I now have six different Christmas cards for viewing on my homepage under "galleries" then "greeting cards". Use any pictures from a previous session for these unique cards. All the text is fully customizable, and I can change it to suit your style and preferences. Cards can be printed on a variety of papers: semi-gloss cover stock, watercolor, linen, or pearl. They come in sets of 25 with envelopes and the cost is $29 per set.

Pumpkin Sneak Peek

Today I had a great day at Sweet Berry Farm with four wonderful families - who happen to all be returning clients. On the way there, it was overcast and drizzling a bit, but by the time we got there, the rain had stopped and the clouds made a perfect cover for pictures. It actually felt a little like fall! : )

I started off with a nine-month-old and her four-year-old cousin. Both girls had their Halloween costumes and aren't they precious?!?

Then, I had a family of four who appeared on my blog not that long ago. Here they are again and looking as fabulous as ever.

Next, was little "G" who is SO handsome . . . MJ, can you believe how grown up he looks?

And finally, two brothers who were a challenge to get in the same place for a picture! But, the one we did get is priceless.

Sunrise Wedding and Sunset Family Photos

Today was a whirlwind of photography fun. This morning I was privileged to photograph a sunrise wedding at Laguna Gloria (you Austinites know that this place is gorgeous!). The couple was adorable and I had fun mingling with their fabulous families. Take a look:

Then, this evening I had a great time with some friends of ours, the "A" family. Their two-year-old daughter, "M", is a cutie and FULL of life. We chased her all over and were still able to capture these precious moments:
